I’m trying to figure out this contour thing because I want my summer makeup to look like an Instagram picture lol. On my search for a good highlighter I discovered the Borghese Splendore Brightening Makeup. I used to love Borghese nail polish, but I’m pretty sure the brand moved on up and started focusing on other makeup essentials. The makeup gives a light dewy shimmer and is not at all overly glittery (no one wants to look like a stripper). The effect reminds me of how your skin looks when you have spent a few hours in the sun, a bit of a sun glistened glow.
Sorry for the intense close up. I tried to find a place with good lighting so you could see the glistening effect of this makeup. I took this picture in front of my office window with natural light. There is absolutely no filter on the picture.
You really don’t need much, a pea sized amount like the one in the picture is enough for one day. I apply to my cheekbones, glabella area and a bit on my nose as well as my chin with the brush shown in the picture below.
Borghese is a little pricey, but the bottle should last for years. Go splurge!!
